The Aryans of northern India and of Assyria (Eastern Turkey/Anotolia) brought to mesopotamia the ancient gods of the Hindu Brahman traditions and changing their names culturally to suite the God Kings of that era around 800 bc. They are known to us as the Anunaki from the epic of gilgamesh. Their traditions and philosophy can be exactly matched with the northern Indian traditions of the East. Later these traditions cultized into what is known as Judeo-Christian and Muslim beliefs. So far this is what my research reveals in a nutshell. Evidence of this can be easily seen in the statuary and art of these kings and queens. Nimrud has very large statues. There is also Grecko Roman Pantheons based on the same Aryan Gods and Goddesses as well as monsters and fertility deities of the underworld.
Female rulers in ancient Mesopotamia were rare. But those who did rule made their mark on history. In the Neo-Assyrian regime of the ninth century B.C., one woman commanded an entire empire stretching from Asia Minor to what is today western Iran. She was Sammu-ramat, thought to mean “Queen of heaven or High Heaven.” Her five-year rule, while brief, appears to have inspired long-lasting respect among her subjects and the world. Centuries after her reign, Greek writers, and historians focused on Sammu-ramat and her achievements. They hellenized her name to Semiramis. From here, the Assyrian queen passed from the world of facts into the realm of legend. Some cast her as a beautiful femme fatale in a tragic love story. Classical authors attributed great accomplishments to Semiramis: commander of armies, and builder of the walls of Babylon and monuments throughout her empire. Her real husband Shamshi-Adad V was the real Yahweh and she was the real Asherah or Asteroth the mother goddess consort of Yahweh. His other name was also Nimrud or Nimrod all Judaisms of their real names depending on the cult. Sammu-ramat was also venerated as the Mother godess combo with her son Tammuz worshipped by early jewish cults. She transmuted later into the Messianic jewish cult symbols Mary Jesus figures.Asteroth was also demonized by the Chaldean priests of Solomon Nebekenezer and transmuted into a male demon. This is when they were moving toward a full on patriarchy. The higher gods of antiquity are all "Sons of the Mother" before they become "Sons of the Father." The Logoi, like Jupiter or Zeus, son of Kronos-Saturn, "Infinite Time" (Kala), in the origin were represented as male-female. Zeus is said to be the "beautiful Virgin," and Venus is made bearded. Apollo was originally bi-sexual, so is Brahma-Vach in Manu and the Puranas. Osiris in interchangeable with Isis, and Horus is of both sexes. Finally in St. John's vision in Revelation, the Logos, who is now connected with Jesus, is hermaphrodite, for he is described as having female breasts. So also is Tetragrammaton=Jehovah. But there are to Avalokiteshvaras in Esotericism: the First and the Second Logos. -H. Blavatsky- AuthorBret C. Sheppard ArchivesNo Archives Categories |
